Coming to iPhone & Android
See themsee it.
SeeMee is a private messenger for videos you can't wait to show someone. When they watch, their reaction comes back to you.
Recorded only after they tap Watch & send reaction.
Every video you send has a moment you never get to see: the second it lands on their face. SeeMee brings it back.
One video, there and back.
Paste a link into a chat. It arrives covered, so the first look waits until they’re ready to react.
Watching and reacting are one tap: Watch & send reaction. Before it, SeeMee spells out the camera, the microphone, how long it lasts and who gets it. Until then, nothing records.
SeeMee finds their face during the countdown. Then the video plays while the front camera records, until it ends or a minute is up. Leave early and nothing is sent.
The reaction sends itself when the video ends. You watch their face with your video playing above it, in step, and an AI suggestion of what their face did.

It reads faces.
Not feelings.
Once a reaction is recorded, a face model on their phone looks for visible movement and suggests what it saw. It describes what a face did, never how someone felt. A smile isn't proof of happiness, and SeeMee won't pretend it is.

- smilingMouth corners lift
- raised browsBrows go up
- open mouthJaw drops open
- furrowed browsBrows draw down and in
- pressed lipsLips press together
- puckered lipsLips push forward
- wrinkled noseNose scrunches up
More than one can apply at once. If anyone else is in view, there's no suggestion at all. The set is still being tuned in testing.
One video. Five friends. Every face.
Send the same video to a few people and SeeMee gathers what came back: who it went to, who reacted, and each suggested expression counted in people.
- Counts, not percentages. “3 of 4 smiling” means three people. Nothing is extrapolated.
- No happiness score. No ranking of friends, no verdict on how the video did.
- Waiting just means waiting. SeeMee doesn't claim to know who watched and who didn't.
- Only you see it. No public gallery and no audience database. Each reaction is still one-to-one.
Private, all the way down.
A camera that records your face deserves rules simple enough to say out loud. These are the rules SeeMee is being built to follow. The app is not released yet, and its own privacy policy will be published here before it is.

The camera starts only when they tap Watch & send reaction, after SeeMee has said what it records, for how long, and who gets it.
Leave early and nothing is sent.
Back out, or get interrupted, before the video ends and the unfinished recording is deleted.
One reaction, one person.
It goes to whoever sent the video. No feed, no followers, no public gallery.
The face model stays on the phone.
Suggestions are worked out on the device. During the countdown it looks at shrunken frames in memory and drops them. The video is never sent anywhere to be analysed.
Fair questions.
Does the person I send to need SeeMee?
Yes. SeeMee is its own messenger: you both have the app and have accepted each other as contacts. Reactions only pass between people who are connected.
Can I watch a video without recording a reaction?
No. On SeeMee, watching is reacting: a video stays covered until you tap Watch & send reaction. If you'd rather not, leave it covered. Nothing records unless you tap.
Can I check my reaction before it's sent?
No. It sends itself when the video ends, so there's nothing to approve afterwards. If you back out before the end, the unfinished recording is deleted and nothing is sent.
Which videos can I send?
Links from YouTube, Instagram and Facebook are being tested first. Some videos can't play inside another app, such as private ones or ones that need you to log in.
